The Mars Volta is a progressive rock/emo band from the US, the band was created when the cult 90th emo band At The Drive-In split up into two parts part of the members decided to go the hard way and formed screamo outfit Sparta and part to follow more melodic – progressive style and formed The Mars Volta (The in the name is important because Mars Volta is an electronic project, that has nothing to do with this band).

Motorhead are a living legend, they rose up with the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and are still keeping up the struggle for rock for a new generation of fans. They influenced huge mass of bands and entire styles like heavy metal, thrash metal, speed metal, punk, hardcore and even stoner. Their style carved with 80th hits like Ace of Spades and Overkill is hard, fast and groovy, later in 90th they switched to more groove and little less speed. Their latest effort Motorizer released in 2008 is the result of these changes.
Ghosts and Vodka is a solo project out of members from bands Cap’n Jazz and Joan Of Arc, it’s a step from their main music to more experimental stuff. This side project band has an album and a 7” inch which were rereleased this year together as compilation album Addicts and Drunks, I stumbled upon in accidentally.
Marco Di Maggio – professional guitar player, one of the most acclaimed guitarists of rock-n-roll. Was added to Rockabilly and Country Hall of Fame, worked with dozens of singers and bands. Sue Moreno (from Sue and the Flaming Stars) started as a singer in a small theater but slowly rose to shows like Rattle and Roll Weekender, the Jackson Rockabilly Fest, Viva Las Vegas, the Midsummer Jamboree and the Screamin’Festival.
