The Title is a new name with new sound. It is called power pop but actually I can’t really define it. It is similar to some songs of Panic At The Disco, The Postal Service with melodies reminiscent of Cure or some newer bands like Blink-182 or Fall Out Boy; and yeah with a twist of 8bit music. Completely electronic sound with melodic vocals, small 8bit parts and dance parts if it is called power pop, okay I agree.
Their album Making A Scene released this year is starting with small electronic intro and then flows into the first song Fading, with great lyrics and pop emo styled vocals. The singer sometimes uses some effects to make the vocals more distorted (similar to some Postal Service songs), it really helps sometimes when the lyrics are a bit boring. Generally this album is filled with hits, nice dance parts, catchy choruses, incredible melodies, fine lyrics and great positive vibe. Really a great album made by five kids from the US, and by the way it is completely independent, no major labels, so it totally rocks.
