One of the small summer 2007 sensations. I first read about them in Metal Hammer magazine. They were presented by Scott Ian (Antrax, S.O.D) as one of the modern “80th Trash Revival” bands. Well I wasn’t actually able to check the trashy 80th by myself, but I think Scott is one of the dudes that definitely have.

Evile started as a cover band playing small clubs for years. In some time they wrote few of their own pieces and decided to make an album. They send demos to Fleming Rasmussen and he agreed to produce the plate. Well I don’t think that a trash metal band would want more than the producer of the legendary “Master Of Puppets” by Metallica. Fleming himself said that Evile have this old school vibe.

Evile sound like the good old Metallica and Slayer. Nothing new, man against machine, gladiators, circle pits and hi-top basketball nikes. But they rule. They just have the sound and the spirit, that many modern mallcore bands are lacking. Little words! Lots of metal!
